EMDR

What is EMDR?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a trauma-informed, evidence based treatment that implements bilateral stimulation — the same kind of left-and-right, back-and-forth we get when sleeping in REM, or rapid eye movement — to help us problem-solve our trauma(s) more efficiently. Since being trained in EMDR, I have seen how positive the results are for dozens of individuals.
